WOW huh?
Yeah I know what you mean!
I came across this knockout known as Raspberry Rose online and I knew I had to find out more about her. I was struck by her flawless look, and the retro late 40’s feel of her pinup shots. The hair, the makeup, the wardrobe the works! Is it just me or do the Europeans seem to be able to nail the late 40’s look more than most? I don’t know, but either way this German Bombshell had hit me hard!
I had to find out more, so I wrote to Rose and asked her a few questions:
PP Do you have a favourite photographer?
Sarah Troester! She is absolutely wonderful to work with and allows me to express my visions.
A man’s work I admire is the wonderful Mr. Hugh Hefner and Play Boy Photography. Hef has a heart of gold, a man with taste & style…….
PP How long have you been modeling?
Almost a year.
PP Have you always done retro inspired modeling?
Yes, Rose is completely vintage with all her heart! The woman in the pictures, is the woman I live in everyday life,even if I’m just making a short trip to the supermarket. I wear my seamed stockings, garter belt, bee stung red lips, my hair in marcel waves. My clothing always original vintage. It doesn’t matter how rough my path might be……I wear heals!!!!
PP What do you do when you’re not modeling?
I also work as a make up artist, so I am in the studio or on location. On my free time, I enjoy spending my evenings at home cuddling with my three dogs. I enjoy listning to music or watching a good movie. I love movies, mostly classic or a good horror. I enjoy a good scare every now and than.

PP What type of music do you listen to?
I have many sounds that I favor. Anything from Julie London, Doris Day, Sinatra, Vivaldi,Strauss, Kiss, Cheap Trick, to Marilyn Manson and many more……..

PP Do you have a favourite model? I know you are a big Dita fan, is there anyone else you admire?
Can anyone possibly top Dita? But I do adore Gisele Bündchen, a goddess!
PP Is there any type of photoshoot you would like to do next? Any ideas for fun shoots?
I have many planned but the one that’s on my the top of my list is: Evil Alice in Wonderland. I will work with the lovely Sarah Troester to bring this Character to life. We share many visions for this shoot.
PP Is there anyone in your life special?
My very tiny Chihuahua, Dakotah. I’ve had him the longest of my 3 dogs. The most precious little bundle of joy ever!

PP What’s your favourite pair of shoes?
My eggshell colored Oxford shoes, that can be seen in many of my photos. My favourite shoe designer is Sergio Rossi! Thank you Sergio for making women dreams come true with your beautiful creations! I hope to one day own a pair!
PP Any plans for travel soon, like the USA or England etc?
I will be in England the first week of November on promotion tour, I will be shooting in London! Than I’m on my way to Switzerland for a very exciting shoot, but this one’s a surprise! Hopefully I can plan a trip to the USA in the upcoming year!!
