From Ron Davis:
“Irish, here’s my one line bio: “Ron Davis is the photographer behind GlamourApprentice.com His goal in life is to take stunning pictures of beautiful women and teach others to do the same.”
Sounds great to me Ron, love the work you’re doing teaching new photographers how to get the Look they’re after too. Take a look at his website to see what I’m talking about. Thanks for the shots.

“Frankii Wilde, from Film Noir to Technicolor, she has the innocence and vulnerability of a modern day Marilyn with the allure and the seduction of the Femme Fatale Veronica Lake. Frankii is one of the UK’s hottest rising Burlesque Starlets; already a Queen of the Pin-Up scene, no doubt you will have seen her face in countless magazines”

I am the Model
From Jill Rudison :
“Hello! I’m Jill Rudison. I’m originally from Miami, now living in Los Angeles. I compete in amateur figure bodybuilding shows when I’m not production managing TV shows, live events and concerts. I love people watching, fleamarkets, biking around Venice Beach, sarcasm, tattoos, surfing, the color blue, sugar-free Jello pudding and the smell of Home Depot. I don’t have a website just yet, but stay tuned for bigger things in the works!”
Hi Jill! Welcome to the Post! Your shots look amazing, and I’m pretty sure are destined for the desktops of a thousand computers once the lads get a look at you! What an amazing figure, sure shows off the hard work you’ve put in! Simply beautiful, thanks!

Pin-Up: Kelly Doll- Crystal
From Zahira Kelly:
“I am Zahira Kelly, a digital artist and graphic designer.
My work is loosely based on classic American pin up art, along the lines of Al Buell and Gil Elvgren, except it features primarily women of color!
It all began when I decided I wanted a tattoo of a classic pin up but as long and hard as I searched I could not find any that looked anything like me. This led me to create my own!
Classic pin up art became known as iconic Americana in the 1940’s and 1950’s during World War II. During this era the socio-political climate and racial tensions of the United States did not allow for women of color to be featured in the times artwork.
Due to this, there is a void to be filled when it comes to finding women of color featured as the traditional pin up.
My goal is merely to capture the overt femininity and subtle sexuality of what was a largely ignored population in 1940’s and 1950’s style.”
There have been a few beautiful pinups of colour from the early Pinup genre, but not that many. Mostly I seem to find still sof movie sirens of the silent films before censorship, or singers and jazz stars. Not many specifically ‘pinup’ images exist from that time, at least not in popular culture anyway! Nice job!
