“If there is one name that should be synonymous with Pinup, it’s Betty. No, I’m not talking about Betty Page. I was thinking more along the lines of the original “Pinup Girl”, Ms. Betty Grable. It is here that Kitty King draws most of her inspiration when modeling. “My first recollection of Betty Grable was from my early childhood. I remember seeing that iconic pose in an old newspaper clipping my mother had kept after Betty’s passing.” says Kitty. As a child she was fascinated with the golden days of Hollywood and such greats as Marlene Dietrich, Jean Harlow, Bette Davis, Gloria Grahame and others. This fascination and that first glimpse of Betty stayed with her through life and so it was only natural that she was drawn to the world of pinup. She is untouched by ink and has passed up on piercing in an effort to recreate the true pinup. When she’s not in front of the camera, she can be found behind the microphone. With the vocal ability to transport one to a time where honky tonks and heartache were the standard, it was no great surprise that she found her way to the stage. She has teamed up with her partner in crime, Johnny Degenerate, to unleash an onslaught of original tunes to soothe the sinning masses. Gams like Grable, the voice of an angel and a smooth southern smile make for an unbelievable combination. From her four-inch heels to her long black lashes, she is a work of art. –Johnny Degerate ”
Sure is a rare thing to find a true beauty unmarked by ink these days. I mean I have a ton myself, but there’s nothing like the sight of flawfless unmarked skin! Nice look Kitty!
