I haven’t been keeping up with the work of Melinda, much to the dismay of a few readers, so I was really surprised to find her on YouTube! Pin-Ups are so much cooler in motion! It goes with my whole love of Burlesque and being able to meet some of these girls in person!
So here’s your fix of Melinda, along with 10 Questions you might not have the chance to ask her yourself!
Thanks to Go Kustom TV!

Pin-Up Artist: Ronnie Werner
Models: Unknown (but damn fine!)
This from Ronnie’s bio:
“Ronnie Werner was born in Wisconsin on December 18th of 1965. He really isn’t into talking about himself, but since you asked; Ronnie learned how to draw from comic book masters Jack Kirby, George Tuska and Steve Ditko though he never actually got to meet them. He learned about pretty naked girls from the Playboy magazines his dad hid under the dresser. In the summer of 1977 he moved from Wisconsin to Oregon. That summer he saw Star Wars, in the theater, twelve times. A very brief stint at the Art Institute of Chicago and another at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, threatened to make him a legitimate artist, but in the end he stayed true to his first loves, pretty naked girls and comic books.”
Ronnie’s one hell of a talented artist, I’m sure you’ll agree! He’s also busy as hell and working hard on a few projects. He has a full-color book coming out this year of his Pin-Ups and it’s sure to be an instant ‘must have’ for your collection.
Ronnie’s work was also featured in the November ‘07 issue of Heavy Metal! for those that don’t know, it’s one of, if not THE premier underground/alternative publication for Illustration, and has featured MANY of the top artists in the world since 1977. I first saw Aeon Flux there before it hit MTV, and the biggest names like Olivia, Royo and many many more. If you don’t know the magazine, go find one or check it out online!
OK, so I don’t normally post flyers or commercial posts, but this is my favourite girl dancing live and in person, so make sur eyou go out and support her ok! Violet Valentine in person, getting her gear off, and shakin it for the lads… what MORE do you want?
I ask ya!
FYI: Burlesque and Pin-Ups go hand-in-hand round here…
